The villain Megatron transforms into Galvatron over the course of the series, whose color scheme recalls the original G1 Megatron – with black-silver coloring, white to violet face, and green to red eyes.

The final duel between Galvatron and Galaxy Convoy in Episode 51 is considered a tribute to the series "Yūsha Exkaiser".

The Buzzsaw toy figure is a re-release of the Sandstorm figure from "Transformers: Armada", with the design heavily inspired by the character of the same name from "Beast Wars", which never actually appeared in the series itself.

The Blurr toy figure is based on a revised version of Silverbolt from "Transformers: Armada" and exists in two color variants, red and yellow, although the figure is never shown in robot form in the anime.

The robot form of the character Signal Lancer initially existed only as a concept drawing; only in the final episode 52 was the transformation actually animated, with the transformation sequence closely resembling that of Demolishor – a rare case for a figure for which there was no toy.
