The Big Show Show

The series was created by Josh Bycel and Jason Berger and produced by WWE Studios, premiering on Netflix with eight episodes on April 6, 2020.

The show stars professional wrestling veteran Paul Wight (Big Show) playing a fictionalized version of himself, alongside Allison Munn, Reylynn Caster, Lily Brooks O'Briant, and Juliet Donenfeld as his fictional family.

In September 2019, Big Show announced on 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's podcast that the show had already filmed three episodes and would premiere around the time of WrestleMania 36 in April 2020.

On August 31, 2020, Netflix decided not to renew the series for a second season, instead ending it with a Christmas special released on December 9, 2020.

The show featured guest appearances from former WWE wrestlers Mick Foley, Mark Henry, and Rikishi, as well as Queer Eye star Tan France.

Joel Keller of Decider described the sitcom as 'okay to stream,' saying it was slightly better than average family sitcoms thanks to Berger and Bycel's comedy backgrounds, while praising Big Show's physical comedy and Munn's performance.

Matt Fowler of IGN and Randall Colburn of The A.V. Club both compared the show's tone to 1990s TGIF-style sitcoms, with Colburn noting the humor derived from a physically imposing man showing vulnerability.
