Hack

Hack was created by David Koepp and aired on CBS from September 27, 2002, to March 13, 2004, spanning 40 episodes across two seasons.

The series was filmed on location in Philadelphia, matching the setting of its story about a former Philadelphia police officer.

David Morse played lead character Mike Olshansky and said that being part of this kind of production allowed him to go home every day and see his kids, calling it a rare thing for an actor.

Hack became one of the last series to air original scripted programming on Saturdays in the United States, as networks soon after began pulling first-run scripted shows from that prime-time slot for over a decade.

In the United Kingdom, Hack was one of only two original dramas shown on the launch night of ITV3 on November 1, 2004.

ITV3 never aired the final four episodes of the first season because the network let the broadcast rights lapse before they could be shown; both seasons later aired in full on CBS Drama and CBS Action starting February 10, 2015.

The show aired internationally in the United Kingdom (ITV3), Australia (Network Ten), France (M6), and Russia (Fox Crime), and reran in the U.S. on channels including Crime & Investigation, AXS TV, Universal TV, and GetTV.

Both seasons of Hack were once available for streaming on Netflix but have since been removed from the platform.
