Beyond Denmark, the series was broadcast in Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia and on SBS One in Australia.

In Germany, the show was cancelled due to low ratings after the first nine episodes of season one, though a late-night re-run started in September 2008.

The series also aired on Eurochannel in the United States, Latin America and Portugal.

The theme song for season one was 'Crosshair' by Blue Foundation, while seasons two and three used 'In the End I Started' by Swedish singer Maria Marcus and Dane Niels Brinck.

Filming for the third and final season began in March 2007 and was extended with two extra 'catch-up' shooting days, finally wrapping on Tuesday, 14 August 2007.

Lead actress Charlotte Munck was previously known for her role in Kongekabale, while Iben Hjejle, who plays Mikala, was known internationally for High Fidelity and Blinkende Lygter.
