Nickelodeon ordered a pilot for Warped! on October 23, 2020, from creators Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert before officially greenlighting it as a full series on March 18, 2021.

Casting

Filming

The series was originally set to premiere on January 20, 2022, but ended up debuting earlier, on January 16, 2022, branded as a special sneak peek.
