Only the first five episodes were ever broadcast during the show's original American run; the remaining episodes were only aired internationally in other markets.

Despite being pulled quickly from the air, the series was not officially cancelled until May 13, 2006, months after it stopped airing.

The show's promotional slogan was "The normal American family turned upside down."
