Parish is an American adaptation developed by Danny Brocklehurst, based on his own BBC One series The Driver.

Casting

Giancarlo Esposito's character was originally announced as Vince when the project was first developed, but by September 2022 the character's name had been changed to Gracián 'Gray' Parish.

Filming began in early August 2022 in New Orleans, which also serves as the show's setting.

Co-creator Sunu Gonera was removed from the series in October 2022 following an internal investigation against him.
