Trivia & behind the scenes

/
Origins

This drama was planned as the only thriller drama in the country depicting police and firefighters jointly responding to and solving cases, and screenwriter Min Ji-eun's planning had already been confirmed three years before broadcasting.

Casting

On January 24, 2022, Kim Rae-won, Son Ho-joon, and Gong Seung-yeon were confirmed to be cast as the main leads.

Filming

Producer Lee Him-chan, who was a production producer, passed away on January 30, 2022, and his bereaved family claimed it was due to excessive work pressure. Due to this incident, filming was halted in February 2022 and resumed only in May.

Origins

Originally aimed for broadcast in the first half of 2022, but production was delayed due to investigations by the labor-management joint investigation committee regarding the death of producer Lee Him-chan, so the broadcast date was postponed to the second half of the year, and ultimately confirmed by SBS Drama Division as the follow-up to 'Lawless Lawyer'.

Reception

According to a January 5, 2022 report, this drama was planned to be produced as 2 seasons of 12 episodes each, and it was later officially announced in September that Season 1 would air on November 12 and Season 2 would air in the second half of 2023.

Reception

On November 22, 2022, screenwriter Min Ji-eun officially confirmed the production of Season 2 through an interview.

Reception

The drama ended without properly concluding the final episode and received criticism from many viewers; however, this was intentional to continue the story into Season 2 as part of the season-based structure.

Reception

At the 2022 SBS Drama Awards, Kang Ki-doong won the Best Supporting Actor award, Kim Min-seo won the Female Youth Acting award, and Kim Rae-won and Gong Seung-yeon each won the Best Acting award in the Miniseries/Drama genre for male and female respectively.
