Blackshore is a 2024 Irish crime drama series written by Kate O'Riordan and directed by Dathaí Keane, produced by Treasure Entertainment with Rebecca O'Flanagan as producer.

The series was filmed on location in Killaloe, County Clare and Ballina, County Tipperary.

The series stars Lisa Dwan and Rory Keenan, with a supporting cast including Jade Jordan, Stanley Townsend, Andrew Bennett and Amy De Bhrún.

Blackshore premiered on RTÉ One on 4 February 2024 and was later broadcast on UKTV from 19 October 2024.

Critics praised the chemistry between leads Lisa Dwan and Rory Keenan, with The Times' Ben Dowell highlighting the 'lively script' and Irish Independent's Pat Stacey calling Dwan 'the sarkiest, narkiest, angriest detective in television crime drama'.

The Guardian's Phil Harrison described the show as 'not groundbreaking' but praised Dwan as a 'spirited lead', while The Irish Times' Ed Power called it a 'silly, watchable drama' and one of RTÉ's better thrillers.

Sound team members John Brennan, Mark Henry, and Fionan Higgins were nominated for Best Sound at the Irish Film and Television Awards in January 2025.
