The series was announced by Netflix in October 2023, developed by production company Kapow with Adrián Suar as artistic producer and Carolina Aguirre as screenwriter, with Griselda Siciliani cast as the lead from the start.

Benjamín Vicuña was announced to have a starring guest role a month after the initial development announcement, while Bárbara Lombardo, Leonora Balcarce and Violeta Urtizberea were confirmed as part of the main cast.

Principal photography began in mid-November 2023, and filming was temporarily halted in January 2024 after lead actress Griselda Siciliani tested positive for COVID-19.

The first and second seasons were filmed simultaneously, both consisting of 12 half-hour episodes, with the second season's shoot wrapping in July 2024.

Filming for the third season began on March 17, 2025, took place partly in the city of Villa La Angostura in Neuquén province in June 2025, and wrapped on September 5, 2025.

Singer Nicki Nicole joined the cast for a special guest appearance in the third season, alongside newcomers María Abadi and Agustín Aristarán.

Critic Natalia Trzenko of La Nación praised Griselda Siciliani's performance as expressive and especially talented for physical comedy, noting she moves convincingly between ridiculous and emotional scenes.

According to a review in Cadena 3 Argentina, each episode closes with indie songs that give the show a youthful feel fitting current times.
