Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures

This live-action series was created as a follow-up after the DIC Entertainment animated series of the same name was cancelled.

The show was originally scheduled to air during the 1991–92 television season, but production was delayed until Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey turned a profit at the box office.

Although set in the United States, the series was actually filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, for financial reasons.

Variety critic Carole Kucharewicz praised the show's special effects but criticized the acting, giving the series an overall negative review and joking that turning the characters into a weekly series wasn't as good an idea as making a movie about them.

The lead roles of Bill and Ted, played by Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in the films, were recast for television with Evan Richards as Bill S. Preston Esq. and Christopher Kennedy as Ted 'Theodore' Logan.

Guest stars included Diedrich Bader as Arthur, Arte Johnson as Albert Einstein, and Todd McDurmont as Elvis Presley in different episodes.
