Casting

Ata Demirer told screenwriter Gülse Birsel and producer Sinan Çetin at the beginning of season 3 that he wanted to leave the show, and he departed at the end of that season before returning in season 6.

Following the death of actor Gazanfer Özcan on 17 February 2009, veteran actors Müşfik Kenter and Gönül Ülkü Özcan joined the cast as the parents of Hasibe Eren's character Makbule.
