Bitten is a Canadian fantasy television series based on the Women of the Otherworld book series by author Kelley Armstrong, with the show's title inspired by the first book in the series.

The series was produced as an original series for the Canadian channel Space, with most of the filming taking place in Toronto and Cambridge, Ontario.

Composer Todor Kobakov was hired to write the score for the series, and a soundtrack album, Bitten – Score Soundtrack Vol. 1, was released on March 18, 2014.

Bitten averaged 348,000 viewers in its timeslot, making it Space's highest-rated original series of all time.

The series was picked up by Syfy for broadcast in the United States, premiering there in January 2014, and later aired in Australia in August 2015 and on SyfyUK in May 2016.

A live after-show called InnerSpace: After Bite premiered on Space on February 7, 2015, following the season two premiere, featuring hosts Morgan Hoffman and Teddy Wilson discussing episodes with actors and producers.

The show ran for three seasons, with its third and final season concluding in April 2016 after being confirmed as the last season in December 2015.
