Origins

The series was green-lit on 8 January 2015, premiering on Sky 1 in the UK on 30 September 2015 before airing on NBC in the US on 28 January 2016.

Reception

Sky 1 announced in March 2016 that the show would not be renewed for a second series.

Casting

Mathew Baynton played dual roles as estranged identical twin brothers Jamie Winton, a bank manager, and Ariel Conroy, the leader of a cyber terrorist group known as White Horse.

Filming

The bunker scenes, where several main characters gather to watch the apocalypse unfold on television, were filmed at West London Film Studios on Stage 2.

Reception

The series received favourable reviews, holding a 72/100 score on Metacritic and an 83% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 31 reviews.
