Pretty Little Liars

Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar (Sweet Little Liars) is a Turkish adaptation of the American series Pretty Little Liars, produced by O3 Media and directed by Cem Karcı with a screenplay by Elif Usman Ergüden.

The series aired on Star TV from July 6 to October 3, 2015, and ended after only 13 episodes.

The show initially aired on Mondays at 20:00 for its first eight episodes before switching to a Saturday 20:00 slot from episode 9 through the series finale.

Several cast members had previously worked together on other Turkish productions: Dilan Çiçek Deniz and Burak Deniz appeared together in 'Yarım Kalan Aşklar' and 'Kal', while Burak Deniz and Büşra Develi starred together in 'Arada'.

Burak Deniz and Melisa Şenolsun had previously appeared together in a Koton commercial before being cast in the series.

Dilan Çiçek Deniz and Alperen Duymaz, who play siblings-adjacent characters in the show, had earlier co-starred in 'Çukur' and 'Bodrum Masalı'.

Şükrü Özyıldız and Melisa Şenolsun had previously worked together on 'Nefes Nefese', while Şükrü Özyıldız and Büşra Develi had co-starred in 'Akıncı'.

The Turkish adaptation directly mirrors the American original's character roles, with Şükrü Özyıldız playing the equivalent of Ezra Fitz, Bensu Soral as the equivalent of Aria Montgomery, and Beste Kökdemir portraying both the Alison DiLaurentis-equivalent character and her twin sister.
