M.I. High

M.I. High was created by Keith Brumpton and produced by Kudos for CBBC, focusing on undercover teenage spies working for the fictional agency MI9 while balancing school life.

The show's original MI9 handler, Lenny Bicknall, was played by Danny John-Jules for the first two series before being replaced by Frank London, played by Jonny Freeman, from Series 3 through 7.

The villain known as the Grand Master was voiced by Kerry Shale in Series 1, then played and voiced by Julian Bleach from Series 2 through 6.

The Mastermind, the antagonist introduced later in the show, was voiced by Brian Cox in Series 6 and by Gavin Mitchell in Series 7.

The series originally ran from 8 January 2007 to 21 March 2011 across five series, before being revived for two additional series broadcast between 7 January 2013 and 31 March 2014.

A planned fourth novel in the tie-in book series, titled M.I. High: The Midas Machine, was ultimately cancelled.

The first series of M.I. High was scheduled for a two-part DVD release by Contender Entertainment Group; while the first five-episode installment came out on 21 January 2008, the second was cancelled indefinitely without explanation, and no further series have been released on DVD since.
