Sin senos sí hay paraíso

The series is a sequel to Sin senos no hay paraíso, and its first season is based on Gustavo Bolívar's novel Sin tetas sí hay paraíso, the same author who wrote the original book.

A spin-off series titled El final del paraíso was announced in May 2019, premiered on 13 August 2019, and concluded on 9 December 2019, marking the beginning of a new era for the franchise.

On 25 January 2023, Telemundo announced that the series had been renewed for a fourth season, though filming was delayed for years and only began on 13 January 2026.

The role of villain Yésica Beltrán, La Diabla, was originally played by María Fernanda Yepes in Sin senos no hay paraíso, but she did not return for the sequel due to scheduling conflicts and personal reasons, leading to Majida Issa taking over the part.

Carmen Villalobos was initially confirmed only for a 'special appearance' as her character Catalina Santana in flashback sequences, but she reappeared alive in the final episode of season one, setting up her return as a main protagonist in season two.

Carolina Gaitán and Juan Pablo Urrego, who play sisters Catalina 'la pequeña' and her love interest Hernán Darío, had already worked together on other projects before this series.

Several actors from the original series Sin senos no hay paraíso reprised their roles in this sequel, including Francisco Bolívar, Alejandra Pinzón, Carolina Sepúlveda, Gregorio Pernía, Fabián Ríos, Catherine Siachoque and César Mora.

The first soundtrack album of the series, titled Sin senos sí hay paraíso, was released on 6 August 2016.
