The series is adapted from the Naver webtoon "Do it one more time" (한번 더 해요), created by Hong Seung-pyo (alias Miti) and Kim Hye-yeon (alias Gugu), published online starting from 2016.

The series was initially meant to succeed the drama Strongest Deliveryman, which ended on September 23, 2017, and air starting September 29, 2017, but its launch was postponed to October 13, 2017 due to the long Chuseok holidays (Korean harvest festival).

Several broadcasts were cancelled or postponed in late September and early October 2017 in favour of special programming related to Chuseok, such as films and special music programmes.

The series' soundtrack was released on November 20, 2017, with a first disc of 7 tracks released as a single and a second disc containing an additional track.
