Casting

On February 24, 2018, actor Cho Jae-hyun, who played Go Jung-hoon, was removed from the series after admitting to committing sexual harassment, and his character was abruptly written off as dead with four episodes left before the finale.

Origins

The series was formerly known under the title Cross: God's Gift before its broadcast name was shortened to simply Cross.

Casting

Lead actors Go Kyung-pyo and Yang Jin-sung had previously worked together on the 2017 TV series Chicago Typewriter before being reunited in Cross.

Filming

The first script reading of the cast took place in late November 2017 at Studio Dragon in Sangam-dong.
