Erkenci Kuş became a phenomenon in Italy, where its finale on Canale 5 drew three million viewers and a 20.4% audience share, setting a record as the most-watched series ever aired in the country at that time.

Beyond Turkey and Italy, the show was broadcast in numerous countries including Spain, Croatia, Albania, Israel, Lithuania, Iraq, Ukraine and Kosovo, and aired in Spain on the Divinity channel.

The show's original schedule changed multiple times: it aired on Tuesdays from episode 1 to 11, moved to Saturdays from episode 12 to 43, then returned to Tuesdays from episode 44 until the finale, episode 51.
