Origins

The series was created by Aitor Gabilondo and David Bermejo and is based on a story by writer Manuel Rivas, addressing the past and present of drug trafficking in Galicia.

Filming

The series was filmed entirely in Galicia and its coast, creating the fictional region of Oeste, with locations such as Pazo da Toxeiriña in Moraña, Arosa Island, Villagarcía de Arosa, the port of Vigo, Santiago de Compostela and the port of Ribeira.

Reception

The first episode premiered simultaneously on five channels of the Mediaset España group (Telecinco, FDF, Energy, Divinity and Be Mad), achieving a combined audience share of 22.3% with 3,047,000 viewers.

During the broadcast of the second episode of the second season, on January 23, 2020, it was revealed in advertising that this would be the final season of the series.
