The second season was originally scheduled to premiere on Pop in the U.S. on 13 March 2020 but was pulled from the schedule after cutbacks by parent company ViacomCBS.

After being removed from Pop's schedule, the first season was made available on Showtime's video on demand platforms in the United States in late March 2020, though no confirmation was given that Showtime would air the second season.

In June 2020 it was announced that the series would move to Amazon Prime Video for its second season, which finally became available for streaming there on 10 June 2021.

On Rotten Tomatoes the series holds a 73% approval rating with an average score of 6.1/10 based on 26 reviews, while Metacritic gives it 58 out of 100 based on 13 critics, indicating mixed reviews.

The show features several guest stars playing thinly veiled celebrity-scandal clients, including Bradley Whitford as a director accused of child pornography possession and Amanda Abbington as an actress who falsely accused a nature presenter during the MeToo movement.
