Mucize Doktor is a remake of the 2013 South Korean series Good Doctor, which also inspired the American adaptation The Good Doctor and a Japanese adaptation of the same name.

Filming took place at the Medical Park Hospital in Istanbul's Pendik district, while other scenes were shot in Bilecik and the villages of Küplü, Başköy, Dereköy and Gülümbe.

Actress Yasemin Özilhan, who played the lead role of Ela Altındağ in the medical series Doktorlar, appears in a secondary role in Mucize Doktor.

Özge Özpirinçci, famous for portraying protagonist Bahar Çesmeli in the series Kadin, reprises that character as a guest appearance in Mucize Doktor.

The series was written by Pınar Bulut and Onur Koralp and directed by five different directors: Yusuf Pirhasan, Aytaç Çiçek, Volkan Keskin, Yağız Alp Akaydın and Altan Dönmez.

MF Yapım officially announced on May 14, 2021 that the series would end with its 64th episode, which aired on May 27, 2021 as the official finale.
