Danger Force is a spinoff of Henry Danger, with Cooper Barnes and Michael D. Cohen reprising their roles as Captain Man and Schwoz from the original series.

The series is based on characters originally created by Dan Schneider and Dana Olsen, though it was developed for the screen by Christopher J. Nowak.

Cooper Barnes, who plays Captain Man, also served as a producer on the series alongside former Henry Danger star Jace Norman.

A special quarantine episode was filmed and produced virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic and aired on May 9, 2020.

A five-episode set of 'minisodes' was remotely produced and premiered on August 8, 2020, following the quarantine episode.

The main characters' full names were gradually revealed across different episodes, such as Captain Man's real name being Raymond Esther Manchester, revealed in the episode 'Test Friends'.

Critic Melissa Camacho of Common Sense Media rated the series 2 out of 5 stars, describing it as offering 'the same cheese humor as the show it was spun from.'
