How I loved Whitney Houston, her voice, her songs. I experienced quite a lot of goosebumps in the day, listening to her music. And how shocked I was when I heard of her death…so young… So yeah, obviously I shed quite some tears watching this movie, also because of the great acting, Tamara Tunie in particular. I truly felt her pain. Naomi did an excellent job as well, though for me she was slightly less convincing. I have to admit this might be due to a wrong image I have of Whitney, but I just felt less sympathy for Naomi, perhaps because to me her expression is…don’t really know how to express it, less open and warm…? But obviously a great movie nonetheless, I keep thinking about it.
