Why did this actually break my heart😭 Zac Efron's facial expressions throughout pretty much were the same! It's as if he was emotionless but he still managed to show so much emotion that just resonated through the screen!

Zac Efron in a marine uniform walking kilometers to find a woman from a photo he found in Iraq. Believable? Zero. Did I care? Neither. Nicholas Sparks writes the same movie over and over, and here is no exception. From minute five you know they're going to fall in love, that the ex-husband is going to be the big bad villain, and that there will be a dramatic scene in the rain. Everything happens exactly like that. Taylor Schilling is there, being pretty and suffering as the character requires. They didn't give her much to work with, honestly. The golden retriever Zeus, on the other hand, steals every scene effortlessly. It's not good. But it doesn't pretend to be either. Sometimes you just need to watch hot people kissing among Louisiana landscapes.

It's a beautiful yet sad film. I feel like it could have been more moving if the main characters had more chemistry. That said, I give the cinematography and the story a 10/10.

Eu li o livro a bastante tempo e atrás, assim como também já vi o filme a uns anos. Hoje decidi revê-lo, óbvio que o livro sempre é melhor, tentei puxar na memória se quando vi gostei do filme. Sinceramente? É bom para passar o tempo, estilo sessão da tarde. Eu revi para relembrar a história, porque li o livro

Se guardi il film senza aver mai letto il libro è ok perché è un film scorrevole e tutto sommato romantico e carino, ma se come me, si è letto prima il libro vi posso assicurare che hanno quasi stravolto tutto... A partire dal fatto che Ben nel libro detesta suo padre, Clayton, e ama moltissimo giocare insieme a Zeus. Il modo in cui viene scoperta la verità sulla fotografia, Logan che dà la foto a Ben anziché la medaglietta... L'amicizia sincera di Logan e Victor, insomma, questa è solo la punta dell'iceberg. Hanno aggiunto delle robe che nel libro non esistono proprio... tipo che Logan ha una sorella e dei nipoti (nel libro ha solo una madre che non conosceremo mai) e soprattutto la barca. Cosa diamine c'entra la barca? Voto 6/10

a very enjoyable film. the actors are worthy of the parts they play. the suffering and especially his experience can be read in his eyes throughout the film. a romantic that makes you enter the film with the desire to love

Leggete il libro... questo film fa veramente pena. L'unico attore decente è Keith, tutto dire. Manca del tutto la relazione con Zeus, il rapporto disfunzionale tra Ben e suo padre, la manipolazione e il viscidume di Claiton E poi inesistente il ruolo di Nana, chiave nel libro. E poi che c'entra la barca.... Molto delusa Zac Efron non era adatto al ruolo, troppo tenero per essere un marine 😫

Sou apaixonado pelas histórias do Nicholas Sparks! Não tem jeito, ele sabe escrever romances como ninguém, e esse filme não é exceção. É lindo, sensível, e a trama é tão bem desenvolvida que nos envolve completamente. Que saudade de mais filmes assim!
