Meander - Trappola mortale Seven oN ★ 3
Nonsensical, fake (the blood pouring out of her shoulder, the falling out the window, etc etc), an MC I felt no connection with. It got illogical and weird (not in a good way), but illogical in particular, by the minute, leading to a worthless ending. Nope, not my kind of movie.

28 anni dopo Seven oN ★ 6
Apart from Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes’ performances this was quite disappointing. The plot and decisions made had my eyes rolling so much. Both Jamie and Spike were quite unlikable as MC’s. There were enough interesting scenes though to have an entertaining evening.
Pecore sotto copertura Seven oN ★ 9
Absolutely loved this!! It is a heartwarming movie which has a mystery, humor, but also some serious topics (about death, dealing with grief, being the odd one out). It held me engaged from the first minute till the very last and brought out emotions (made me grin and even laugh out loud a couple of times, but it also brought tears to my eyes). A movie I wouldn’t mind watching a second time.
28 settimane dopo Seven oN ★ 7
The suspenseful atmosphere and fast pacing kept me gripped throughout the entire movie and that’s why I’m going with 7/10 despite some very stupid and illogical character decisions (though yes, people make stupid decisions) and plot developments, like choosing to leave the safe zone despite all warnings, saying you’ll always stick together and then just wander off, and going around hugging people with infected blood all over you…
Loverboy: Emotions Off Seven oN ★ 8
Tough movie to watch, because yes, this shit happens. Not only with young adult girls, but also with girls younger than 12 years olds, recruited in the neighborhood, when they come out of school. The acting isn’t superb, as is the case with a lot of Dutch movies, but the message is essential and it did hit me! As do all the one star reviews 💔
L'ultima missione: Project Hail Mary Seven oN ★ 10
Wow! I absolutely loved the book and was therefore quite anxious to see what they did with the movie. So I was glad to have read the book some time ago so I wouldn’t notice small differences between the book and the movie (I have the memory of a goldfish). But still: how would they depict Rock, would they stay true to the (for me) important parts of the book, especially towards the end, and what would be the impact of Gosling playing the MC (as I’m not his biggest fan…)? But boy did it deliver! Loved Rocky and yes, loved Dr. Grace as well, outstanding performance by Gosling. I laughed, I cried, I bit my sweater from tension and suspense. And those scenes, absolutely visually stunning. Amaze, amaze, amaze!
Final Destination - Bloodlines Seven oN ★ 7
A fun and engaging add to the The Final Destination franchise, adhering to its core elements but with a little more complexity to the storyline/plot. The suspense is palpable like in the first movie (still my favorite) but there’s also gore and dark humor/comedic elements. More a 7.5/10.
L'illusione perfetta - Now You See Me: Now You Don't Seven oN ★ 7
After reading so many negative reviews I was prepared for the worst but (maybe because of that) I actually enjoyed it. It indeed doesn’t have the sparkling magical vibe it used to have, feeling more like a “mission impossible“ but still delivers mystery and good heist.
Paranormal Activity: Dimensione fantasma Seven oN ★ 5
You know something bad is going on with your daughter, she dress the same symbols in her room and you just let it be? You don’t know where your daughter is so instead of turning on the lights you grab a flashlight. But that’s not worst part. Yes it has some good elements (hence still 5/10 stars) but it totally lost the feeling of the series and just isn’t as good as the previous movies, with the first being the best imo. Black strands and monsters just aren’t scary. Real life creepy situations (with one person standing over someone, staring), not knowing what’s going on, etc. is what made the earlier movies scary and full of tension. Alas…
Paranormal Activity 3 Seven oN ★ 6
These movies are primarily about tension, expectation of jump scares (which are there but are not the main focus imo), the anxiety of the unknown and unseen. This movie leaves that behind a bit and therefore is the one I liked least. Also the connection to movie 1 and 2 isn’t as good/natural as the link between 1 and 2.
Final Destination 5 Seven oN ★ 6
Again some stuff didn’t make sense/defied logic. Besides that, these movies are getting “funnier and funnier”. The acting was better than in the previous movie though.it was great to see Tony Todd/Bludworth again. And loved the connection to the first movie.
