Scream 3 es la síntesis perfecta de las dos partes anteriores de la saga. Si en la primera parte lo que funcionaba bien era la parodia, aquí se multiplica por "dos' a costa del rodaje de Puñalada. Chistes metareferenciales a cascoporro y cameos brillantes repletos de mala leche. De la segunda, extraen la parte coñazo de esta -el romance entre Gale y Dewey- y magia: funciona. Lo que en la anterior aburría y era un lastre para la acción, aquí funciona con un reloj gracias al añadido de la Gale de marca blanca. Una amalgama de terror y comedia que curiosamente tiene su mayor falla tanto en Sydney como en la identidad del asesino. Un pegote extraño que está casi más metido a calzador que la presencia de Randy Meeks, que protagoniza la aparición más forzada de la historia y que confirma que matarlo fue el mayor error de toda la saga.

Another sequel bites the dust

The series has become quite formulaic. First you get the phone call with the voice that threatens. Then comes the slasher who kills a bunch of people in the same costume. Of course Deweyand Sidney show up and this time everyone is in Hollywood making a movie called Stab which allows for self reflection. The movie also has some new revelations about Sidney life. All in all the movie is quite predictable and what was a sequel becomes a repetition. I do not write this movie very highly. The first movie was very interesting but the sequels have become tediously predictable,
