A fun children’s movie with a wonderful concept: a wardrobe that leads you to another world. Maybe a bit too long, but on the other hand, I don’t feel like it could’ve been shorter. The acting by the kids isn’t really great, Georgie Henley is constantly switching between crying and laughing, but neither feel reel for example. Tilda Swinton and James McAvoy save the day however. People say the movie feels rushed. I have experienced this myself watching a movie after having read the book ok, but as I haven’t read the Narnia books it certainly didn’t feel rushed to me. All in all, when watched critically it may not deserve the full 4 stars and nostalgia may have played a rol, but I definitely enjoyed it!
