Ekranizacja kultowej gry komputerowej. Dynamiczna akcja, znakomite efekty specjalne i porywające sceny walk. W finale pierwszej części "Resident Evil" Alice (Milla Jovovich) obudziła się na stole operacyjnym w opuszczonym ośrodku badawczym. Okazało się, że jej misja nie powiodła się: hordy żywych trupów wydostały się na powierzchnię ziemi i spustoszyły całe miasto Raccoon City. Alice odkryła, iż jej ciało zostało poddane biogenetycznym modyfikacjom przez naukowców z korporacji Parasol. Jest silniejsza, zręczniejsza, ma wyostrzone zmysły... Teraz będzie potrzebować swoich nowych zdolności bardziej, niż kiedykolwiek. Nadchodzi Apokalipsa...
