It's 1938, but Stan doesn't know the war is over; he's still patrolling the trenches in France, and shoots down a French aviator. Oliver sees his old chum's picture in the paper and goes to visit Stan who has now been returned to the States and invites him back to his home.

Laugh a lot

The basic premise for this series of gags is that Ollie brings home his war buddy Stan. The movie is very funny. My favorite gag is when Ollie takes the elevator toward the beginning of the movie. You will just have to see the movie yourself. The plot itself is merely an excuse to see these two men carry on in a delightful way. I laughed out loud at some of the scenes. I highly recommend that you see this movie!
