These movies are primarily about tension, expectation of jump scares (which are there but are not the main focus imo), the anxiety of the unknown and unseen. This movie leaves that behind a bit and therefore is the one I liked least. Also the connection to movie 1 and 2 isn’t as good/natural as the link between 1 and 2. 0

Again some stuff didn’t make sense/defied logic. Besides that, these movies are getting “funnier and funnier”. The acting was better than in the previous movie though.it was great to see Tony Todd/Bludworth again. And loved the connection to the first movie. 0

Thought I’d checked Lb that I’d not seen this movie. But right from the start I knew that I had. However, thinking I’d not rated it, I watched it again. Now went to rate and review, and what do you know, I’d rated it 7/10… Without written review though. I’m older now, and maybe that’s the reason this movie made a much greater impact on me now: choices in life….law, faith, love, humanity and do many more factors that influence our choices and decisions. Also, great performance by Emma. 💔 0

By no means good, too many stupid decisions that made it hard to suspend disbelief, but there’s tension and after watching You Can’t Run Forever…. It definitely needs a significant higher rating than that one… 0

Another very entertaining sequel! These characters however were mostly unlikable (except for Kevin and Wendy) so I was cheering when they got killed (my cheering actually started l in the previous movie where a stupid guy scared off some pigeons and got his reward)… But the dread of nearing death was still very palpable. Looking forward to the next one. 0

Good sequel, love seeing how it all depends on coincidences (like in real life tbh). Because of that I didn’t like the first hospital scenes with Eugene, no coincidence there. And the last scene was funny but not necessary… 0

Great prequel that tells us how the great wizard of Oz came to be. Loved the story, all the performances were great and the visuals stunning making it all truly magical. There seems to be a lot of criticism, but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, didn’t feel at all like 2h10. 0

Ok, these kinds of horrors are always full of stupid decisions, but I must say that this one beats the record in that respect. Lost count of how many times I rolled my eyes and once I even laughed out loud. Nonetheless I had an entertaining evening and will watch the sequel. 0

Though I can’t remember clearly, I feel like I liked this movie better the first time I watched this. There were a lot of eye rolls and question marks this time… Great premise, but the execution could definitely have been better. 0

Acting is ok, cinematography isn’t great, but the horror vibes, never knowing when and how your final moment is going to arrive, except that it will happen soon, is pretty creepy. Can you escape Death’s grand plan? Planning on watching all the next movies. 0

Watched with a group of movie friends this is a hilarious movie making fun of quite a few very well known movies. We definitely had a few good laughs and I had a very enjoyable evening, but to watch 5 more of these? No thanks 😂 0

The combination of dark and humor is not really my thing, I prefer either one or the other. Also, it was a bit too long so I lost my focus halfway through. So it didn’t quite meet my expectations, for so far as I had those, but found it to be enjoyable enough. 0

As expected, an emotional movie about giving meaning to your life in the face of death. I’m not a fan of Florence Pugh but I have to admit I liked her performance in this movie, heartfelt without overdoing it. 0

This absolutely didn’t work for me. Couldn’t care about the MC, what happened, or what she was going through. The pace was terribly slow for the first 3/4 of the movie. And the end was a total let down. The full 4/10 stars go to Aksel and Anders’ acting. 0

Christmas movies for me need to be sweet (unless it’s a Christmas horror lol), and can definitely be (or maybe even need to be) unrealistic but there are (moral) limits. I tried very hard but just couldn’t enjoy this movie. 0

A movie that honors its title but proved to be a pleasant surprise. Though not a regular Christmas movie, and definitely not for our youngest watchers this was a funny, gory action packed dark comedy with some good acting, fitting its genre. 0

As a fan of A Christmas Carol I need to see every adaptation. This one is not the best by far but not the worst either. Had a couple of laughs but some of it was a bit over the top for me, so I didn’t get those “Scrooge vibes”. Enjoyable enough though. 0

I watch an edition of Scrooge/A Christmas Carol each year. I believe this was the first one I ever watched, many many years ago. I always thought this was my favorite one. But now I feel I need to rewatch every single edition before making up my mind lol I do love how the musical aspect never interrupts the movie/story but adds to it. The flamboyant spending of money may be a little less true to the Christmas spirit (though in Scrooge’s case it makes sense). My favorite parts are the scene where Scrooge makes a promise to search for the best doctors for Tiny Tim and the one where he goes to celebrate Christmas with his (remaining) family. 0

I’ve been watching some ….strange… Christmas movies. This one was better than the previous 2 I watched (Mother Krampus 2, Silent Night Deadly Night 2). Watching it with movie buddies definitely made it more fun too. But yeah…strange…lol 0
