I mean I love action movies and they don’t always have to have a deeper meaning but after a good and interesting start which piqued my interest this movie just goes downhill with repetitive action, actions that don’t seem logical and slow, boring parts. Don’t like to DNF so I did watch the whole movie but it took me 3 nights (with plenty of days in between).

The problem isn’t so much that it has been done before, I can enjoy a movie despite that. But it was just plain boring, bad acting and stupid scenes (looking for just recorded footage in old boxes with old junk??). A final twist that had no twist. Unlikable characters so you don’t care about them or what happens to them.
Did I mention that it was boring?

Engaging Father Christmas
Engaging Father Christmas Seven oN ★ 7
I’m desperately hanging on to Christmas (spirit) and this movie helped. I’m slowly starting to feel Miranda and Ian, not so much in the first movie. My favorite character however is Margaret Whitcomb. Liked this movie definitely better than the first one. So it’s actually a 7.5 rating. 0
A Gift to Remember
A Gift to Remember Seven oN ★ 9
Christmas is over but after such a shitty year I wasn’t ready for it to be over. So I watched this movie and it was perfect: a dog, books, a (very) handsome guy, a sweet girl, all likeable characters, the spread of Christmas spirit, humour, amnesia followed by a very happy ending. Exactly what I needed tonight 🎄💜 0

I have a headache!
I think I will have to watch this movie about ten times and even then I’m not sure I’ll be able to determine if everything makes sense or not. But, as today for me it was good enough to see a very entertaining movie, and be able to follow the thread of the story, I enjoyed it very much.
Also I prefer to watch movies with subtitles cause I often have a hard time understanding what they’re saying. As I understand I was not the only one not understanding what people were saying, lol. Thank God for subtitles!!
All in all, though I’m a bit confused, I’m also very satisfied :D

I can’t compare it to the 1993 movie cause I haven’t seen it yet and I can’t compare it to the book cause I haven’t read it yet. This 2020 version however, I can say didn’t live up to my expectations. I didn’t feel anything for the characters (well, except annoyance to the leading girl). The acting was bad (again, Dixie was in the lead here). I wasn’t enthralled by the story either. The only thing I liked: the dog! 💜

It pains me to give a Bruce Willis movie such a low rating. I mean, I love the guy and he can give an action movie that doesn’t really have a plot something that makes it enjoyable watching it nonetheless. But this was just too awful. No real plot? No problem, but what happens does have to have some logic to it. Not here. The acting was just horrible, especially Lala Kent (Eva). I convinced a friend to watch it with me and I just felt so guilty...

Wow!!! How could I not have known this movie existed??? I watched it thanks to a small movie club I joined...and...it is definitely one of the most fun movies I have seen in a long time! Great actors. Great script. I laughed (a LOT). I cried. And I was so sorry when it ended. Am definitely going to miss these great characters! 💜💜💜 (have I made it clear enough how much I loved this movie?) Just to be sure: I loved this movie!

Oh.....My...God
Start: chaotic camerawork, hoping it wouldn’t stay that way
A little into the movie: ok, it’s got potential
The last part: What?? Soooo fake... I’m not only talking about the CGI but the scenes and the acting.
A few moments later: Hahaha! Laughed more than with quite a few comedies!
Wait, let me check: is this meant to be a comedy maybe! Eh...nope....
The last 15 minutes: is it finished already??
The End: Long live the queen (and the little pussycato’s) 😂😂😂🤣
The 1.5 stars are purely for the message the movie is trying to give (and all the laughs).

Yes, there was bad CGI, there were “yeah, right” moments and “lol” moments. And if you’re expecting a second Train to Busan, yes, you will be disappointed. However, I liked the plot, I really cared for the characters, and I felt all kinds of emotions (anger, sadness, pity, happiness etc). So I wasn’t bothered by the faults of this movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it. In my opinion it doesn’t deserve all the extremely bad reviews.

Wow! I mean, I remember having nightmares from watching the animation series when I was little but I think I would have been traumatised for live had I seen this movie then.
In my memory Jimmy was a smart, wise cricket trying to protect Pinocchio. Here it’s an awful looking monster. I mean, even Pinocchio was kind of eerie...
Gepetto I remember as being so sweet, I loved the guy; here he just made a foolish impression.
Pinocchio I remember as just being a young “boy” making foolish mistakes (just being a child); here he was just plain obnoxious.
And then, I have to mention it again, all those horrific scenes. I even thought I had missed something and that it was supposed to be a (albeit slow paced) horror movie.
It did have a lot of potential, it just... I don’t know... I’m flabbergasted... Might change my rating... I just don’t know...

I sooo wanted to like this movie since I loved the book series. I mean, I could even live with a plot and characters derived from the books while the movie being completely different. With the books too it took me some time to grow into and feel connected with the characters. In the movie however I didn’t really care for them right up to the end. The scenes were a mess, the acting was bad. I just lost interest and focus.
