Letterboxd built one of the most engaged film communities online around a simple diary: log what you watched, rate it, write about it, follow people with similar taste. It's built specifically for film, with no support at all for tracking a TV show or an individual episode.
Seenr keeps that same diary, rating and review loop for movies, then extends it to shows. Checking an episode counts toward the season, the season toward the series, and friends can watch it happen if you let them.
